In Memory of Pamela Crosthwaite

By Donald Crosthwaite

Please join us in remembering Pamela and the impact she has had

Pamela was a passionate advocate in the Fight for Parkinson's during the 15 years since being diagnosed. She believed strongly in educating healthcare professionals and those diagnosed with Parkinson's to ensure they could get the best healthcare advice and quality of life.

After retiring from her Director of Nursing role, Pamela was involved in educating others through speaking to support groups and healthcare workers; was an active member in her local Beechworth Support Group and went on The Project to discuss her Deep Brain Stimulation operation in 2013.  The DBS operation ultimately gave her another 10 years where she was able to live to her fullest.

As a family we are thankful for the support of the numerous healthcare professionals who worked with mum in managing her Parkinson's and then those involved during her short battle with liver cancer.

Please help us by making a tax deductible donation to support Fights Parkinson's by giving whatever you can.

Fight Parkinson’s is a leading source of specialised health information, advice, and services for those in the Parkinson's community. Through research, education, and support, they strive to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s or Atypical Parkinson’s (PSP, MSA and CBS).

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

So sad to hear the news. We had the pleasure of meeting Pam (our mum's cousin) and Don at a family wedding in the UK a few years back. Such a lovely lady, and a fantastically fun couple. Sending love to Don and all Pam's family. Victoria and Mark, Sarah and Matt.
